The Mach-II Primer has a new home

A few weeks ago, Peter J Farrell from the Mach-II team asked if I would contribute the Mach-II Primer to the project's main Wiki. It took me about 30 seconds to agree.

Brian FitzGerald undertook the task of moving the existing entries to the Mach-II Wiki. You can now find the Primer at http://trac.mach-ii.com/wiki/Quickstart.

In the relatively near future, I will be updating the Primer for Mach-II 1.6 and adding any new entries on the Wiki.

The only thing I'm not 100% on is how to handle comments and questions on new posts. If there's no way to handle it on the wiki, I'll add placeholder posts here and link back from the wiki entries.

Peter J. Farrell's Gravatar Adrian, there is way for comments on Trac wiki entries (it's not a common wiki-ness thing to do). I'll turn on the [[AddComment] macro that we have as Trac plugin. Doing that now... ;-) People can also watch the page by clicking Watch Page at the top of the entry. This will email you when changes are done on an entry.

BTW, thanks for contributing to Mach-II!

Brian FitzGerald's Gravatar Hey Adrian, that was my pleasure moving those over to the Mach-II wiki! (still working out some formatting kinks)

I personally have benefited greatly from all the hard work you put into making those articles available to the community. I always highly recommend anyone new to Mach-II go through Kung-Foo the primer as soon as possible.
